FILDA is very sensitive to the temperate and light anomaly at night for two reasons. First, it uses DNB that has high sensitivity to detect the low light at night. Second, it uses VIIRS I-band that has high spatial resolution (~375m). Below are some examples of verification of the hot/burning location detection
